A $40 late cancellation fee may apply if an appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Exceptions may be made in the case of emergencies. This fee helps cover the instructor’s wages when we are unable to fill the reserved time slot.
Your 6 Steps to a License

STEP 1
Sign up for online drivers education and get your certificate of completion.
STEP 2
Take a written test at DMV for a provisional learner’s permit license.
STEP 3
With your new learner’s Permit in hand, text a photo of the “Information Page” to 209-668-9100. (We will validate it on the first lesson.) Click here for image.
STEP 4
Take your first of four 1.5 hour lessons to get your 6 hour completion certificate.

STEP 5
Continue to take additional lessons over the 6 months and 1 day from the permits issue date.
STEP 6
Finish the 4th lesson and take DMV road test in our school car that same day right after that last lesson (car use optional).

BTW PRICING
“Prices may change with fuel fluctuation in today’s world. As of March 16, 2026 we had to go up from the previous $120, (we have had for over two years since 2024) to a per lesson price of $125 each due to the March 2026 surge and hope to come back down to our $120 per lesson fee when fuel prices are between $3.50 and $4.00.
Simply pay the same day of each of the four lessons to help spread out the cost. We accept cash, check and Venmo. Unfortunately, a full payment discount is not offered.
Please note that our cars are available for our students to use for the DMV road test for an additional charge of $80.
